Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Once settled, you’ll meet your safari guide, who will provide a detailed briefing on your upcoming African safari adventure. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy at your own pace, whether you choose to explore the town or unwind at your hotel, preparing for the exciting days ahead.
After breakfast, your safari guide will greet you with a warm Tanzanian smile before driving you to Lake Manyara National Park, located 120 km west of Arusha. This small yet diverse park is named after the shallow soda lake that occupies about seventy percent of its area. The lake floods and dries seasonally, attracting thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species.
As you explore the park, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and elephants. With a bit of luck, you may also spot lions lounging in the trees, a behavior unique to this region. The park’s diverse landscapes range from open grassy plains to primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs, offering a variety of scenic views throughout your journey.
After a full day of adventure in the park, you’ll head to your accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Your comfortable quarters will be waiting, providing a perfect retreat after an exciting day of wildlife viewing.
After breakfast, we begin our journey towards the fertile highlands, where the Iraq people cultivate wheat, coffee, and corn. As we pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we’ll have a chance to take in a stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater. We’ll then continue our drive toward the Serengeti National Park, reaching it by midday.
The Serengeti, the largest national park in Tanzania, spans an impressive 15,000 km². It features diverse landscapes, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains. The park is famous for the great migration of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. Depending on the season, we may witness thousands of animals migrating in search of food and water.
After an extensive game drive through the Serengeti, we’ll head to the Seronera Valley for an evening meal and an overnight stay, where you can relax and reflect on your day’s adventures.
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, one of the world’s most iconic wildlife destinations. The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it’s most famous for the migration of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. The timing of their trek is influenced by rainfall and varies each year. In November and December, the herds move from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains. From April to June, they return to the north during the longer rainy season.
In addition to the migrating herds, we may also spot the resident predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, playing their vital role in the ecosystem.
After a day full of unforgettable wildlife sightings, we’ll return to our accommodation for a relaxing evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay on the Endless Plain.
After breakfast, we’ll drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater. As you approach, the Crater appears like a forgotten world. Surrounded by steep volcanic walls, it harbors a pristine wilderness of sweeping savannah, acacia woodlands, and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was formed when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed two to three million years ago.
The drive down into the Crater is an adventure in itself, and once you reach the Crater floor, you'll quickly find yourself surrounded by wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The Ngorongoro Crater offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhino, often seen grazing in the open grasslands.
After a full afternoon of wildlife viewing inside the Crater, we’ll head to our accommodation in Karatu for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we take a short drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds. The park features a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to open savanna, with the Tarangire River winding through it all. From the open top of our safari vehicle, we’ll seek out wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and giraffes.
We may even have the opportunity to witness a lion stalking its prey or spot leopards lounging in the trees above. After an exciting day of game viewing, we’ll enjoy lunch in the park before returning to Arusha. With a collection of unforgettable images from the African wilderness, we’ll conclude our journey, ready to carry these memories with us for a lifetime.
