Tour Plan

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town. Once you arrive, you’ll meet your guide, who will brief you on your upcoming Africa Safari tour. Afterward, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, with plenty of time to relax and unwind before your adventure begins.

After a brief morning briefing, you'll set off for Lake Manyara National Park. This small park stretches along the 600-meter-high Rift Valley Escarpment and is dominated by the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara. Here, thousands of flamingos grace the shallow waters, creating a stunning pink hue. The park is also home to over 400 bird species, along with a diverse range of wildlife.

In the lush forests, you’ll encounter playful monkeys, while giraffes and antelopes roam the grasslands. Elephants can be spotted near the acacia trees. If you're lucky, you may even spot the famous Manyara lions lounging in the trees. Later in the afternoon, you’ll leave the park and head to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, where you’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, you’ll drive towards the fertile Crater Highlands, where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, corn, and coffee. Along the way, you’ll pass the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the vast plains of Serengeti National Park around midday.

As the largest park in Tanzania, the Serengeti offers a rich diversity of habitats, including short grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, mountains, and lakes. Iconic Kopjes—bizarre rock formations—dot the grassy landscape, often serving as hunting spots for predators.

Depending on the season, you may witness the famous annual migration of thousands of animals. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the northern hills to the southern plains. From April to June, they return north during the longer rainy season. This spectacular circle of life is driven by seasonal rainfall, and the exact locations of the herds may vary each year. However, your guide will know the best spots to find them and ensure you don’t miss out.

After a picnic lunch, you’ll continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater.Once you reach the crater rim, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of this massive 600-meter deep collapsed volcano.

You’ll also likely see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and over 500 bird species that call the crater home.
